Marco Di Lucca showcased a new character model created with Maya and Omniverse.
Have a look at this great digital portrait of Sydney Sweeney, an American actress known for her roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The White Lotus, and Madame Web, recreated in 3D by Marco Di Lucca, an experienced Character Artist known to many for his lifelike portraits of real-life celebrities, who recently returned after a brief hiatus.
Set up as a personal project, the model was created using a combination of Autodesk Maya and Omniverse, NVIDIA's real-time 3D graphics collaboration platform, praised by Marco for its robust toolset and rendering engine.
Some of you, without a doubt, are already familiar with Marco's amazing works and have already seen his detailed 3D takes on Breaking Bad's Walter White, The Walking Dead's Glenn, and Facebook's Mark Mark Zuckerberg:
Back in June, the artist also offered a closer look at Ming, a hyperrealistic digital character model made for Jensen Huang's keynote at COMPUTEX 2024, featured during the segment highlighting NVIDIA ACE, the company's suite of technologies designed to bring digital humans, non-player characters, and interactive avatars to life.
