The update adds support for V-Ray hair tools and Displacement as well as improved OptiX denoiser.
Chaos has launched Vantage 2.2, the newest version of its real-time tool for exploring V-Ray scenes within a 100% ray-traced environment.
If you work with hair a lot, you'll love this update because Chaos introduced support for V-Ray Fur, Ornatrix, Hairfarm, and XGen hair as well as the Hair Next material.
Apart from this, you get support for V-Ray Displacement, the new V-Ray 6.2 Forest pack together with Rail clone instancing, and Intel's Meteor Lake integrated GPU.

The software brings updated DLSS support, adding 2.25x and 3x upscale modes to NVIDIA's real-time deep-learning performance multiplier.
The company also improved the quality of OptiX denoiser and included a Legacy mode option. Additionally, it upgraded Intel denoiser to 2.1.0, enabling GPU acceleration on Intel devices.
Other changes include a Firefly filter, better GPU peak memory usage, improved Orthographic camera navigation and Viewport Fill, and more.
Chaos has recently also launched V-Ray 6 Update 2 for 3ds Max and Corona 11, the latest version of its renderer for 3ds Max and Cinema 4D.
