Chaos' Enscape 4.1 Is Here

This release introduces advanced AI-driven render improvement system Chaos AI Enhancer, building performance analysis plug-in Enscape Impact, new artistic visual modes, integrated graphics and Chaos Cloud support, and more.

The latest version of Enscape, one of the key tools in the architectural visualization scene, is designed to enhance both visual quality and performance, enabling you to craft visually impressive designs that are also viable, energy-efficient, and sustainable.

Enscape 4.1 introduces a range of new features and the first ever Enscape Impact add-on, now available. Enscape Impact is designed to seamlessly integrate real-time rendering with building performance analytics, and you can test it out in beta with Enscape 4.1 on Windows to view your building's energy performance during the early design stages:

Another highlight of this release, Chaos AI Enhancer, is an experimental feature that boosts realism in renderings without impacting performance, using AI to improve Enscape's people and vegetation assets.

Enscape's assets are designed with a low polygon count to maintain performance, and Chaos AI Enhancer provides superior-looking assets directly from Enscape. It enhances only the areas with assets and vegetation, preserving your design intent and achieving lifelike results with one click, reducing the need for post-processing and additional tools. Take a look at the comparison of the original and enhanced images below:

As with every major release, Chaos added more assets to the Enscape Asset Library. This time around, there are 122 new vegetation assets added to the collection. Fill your scene with trees, shrubs, and plants native to the regions of Europe, North America, and Japan:

If you're on a budget or lack a dedicated GPU, you'll be pleased to know that Enscape now supports integrated graphics. You can use Enscape on Windows PCs with Intel and AMD iGPUs while working on-site or while traveling and benefit from a more flexible and cost-effective way of visualizing.

Also, Chaos Cloud is now available for Enscape users, offering quick and easy cloud-based design reviews. Upload renders and panoramas, use comments and visual annotations, and share with reviewers in one place. Create virtual tours with customizable hotspots and navigation assistance. It's free to use but requires a Chaos Account Login and content migration.

Introduce a splash of color to your interior scenes with colored shadows for artificial light sources. Previously, colored shadows were only visible with sunlight, but now you can experience them through colored glass when artificial lights are on:
