Sneak a peek at Theodore Daley's shader collection he is building using Redshift for Cinema 4D and Houdini. Its different parameters can give a scene a cool toon look, as you can see in the drifting car animation the artist provided.
Daley piped the textures he made through the Tonemap node, mapped them as a regular texture, and then combined them with ramps and operations "to still get the proper toon lighting." Here are some more awesome shots:
