Awesome Drifting Animation Clad in Custom Toon Shaders Set Up with Redshift

Theodore Daley is working on something exciting.

Sneak a peek at Theodore Daley's shader collection he is building using Redshift for Cinema 4D and Houdini. Its different parameters can give a scene a cool toon look, as you can see in the drifting car animation the artist provided.

Daley piped the textures he made through the Tonemap node, mapped them as a regular texture, and then combined them with ramps and operations "to still get the proper toon lighting." Here are some more awesome shots:

The shader collection is not ready for release yet, but you can follow the artist on X/Twitter to see fantastic works like this shot from the Akira anime turned manga and this great tutorial on how to create a procedural clay shader in Cinema 4D.
