Ivailo Ivanov showcased these highly realistic renders.
3D Digital Humans Specialist Ivailo Ivanov, renowned for his splendid lifelike portraits, shared a glimpse at his new artwork with this gorgeous setup of a photorealistic eye created with Maya, ZBrush, and Photoshop.
The eye will be the base for the creator's next portrait, a digital reconstruction of Napoleon's likeness. At this stage, the artist doesn't aim at matching his eye color, practicing with recreation of the iris color on a reference.
The artist utilized Arnold for rendering, XGen for grooming, and Texturing XYZ for skin details. The iris was sculpted by hand, with textures created using a combination of photobashing and hand-painting techniques.
Earlier, Ivailo Ivanov showcased plenty of marvelous works, including this recreation of Bulgaria's national hero Vasil Levski, a 3D reproduction of Devil May Cry 5's version of Vergil, a portrait of Adriana Lima, and more:
