Artist 3D-Printed Game Boy-Like Handheld to Play Balatro

Andrea Interguglielmi is not playing around.

A desire to play Balatro can lead to fantastic inventions, like this retro handheld that game developer Andrea Interguglielmi designed and 3D-printed to enjoy the game "the way it was intended... on a Game Boy."

The device was built from the POWKIDDY RGB20SX console, made more minimalistic in design. You can get the reshell here.

Unfortunately, there is no gameplay footage, but hopefully, it works just fine, and we will see it in action soon. If you want to see this development journey, check it out on X/Twitter, where Interguglielmi, who has worked at DreamWorks, Fabric Engine, Animal Logic, MPC, and Lionhead Studios, shares his works.
