Character Artist Johan Vikstrom has unveiled his version of Arcane's Jinx.
As you may know by now, here on 80 Level we are big fans of Netflix's Arcane's art style and visuals. And, as it would seem, so is Character Artist and Lead Lighter at Goodbye Kansas Johan Vikstrom, who has unveiled his take on Arcane's most popular character Jinx. Johan is primarily known for his realistic art style, so it's not a surprise that his version of Jinx also came out quite realistic.
With Anya Taylor-Joy's face as the main reference and source of inspiration, the author tried to be faithful to the original, while also bringing a darker gothic tone. According to the project's description, the character was made in V-Ray, Maya, Yeti, Nuke, and Mudbox. Here are some work-in-process images:
As mentioned before, Johan is a great Character Artist who is known for his realistic portraits of different people. In Johan's portfolio, you will find tons of fantastic characters, 3D versions of famous actors, and even a realistic version of an anime character Asuka Langley (based on Shirogane-sama). We highly encourage you to visit the artist's ArtStation page to check out these amazing projects.
